About the GrassStreet experience:
The spirit and spontaneity of Great Bluegrass music is alive and well within the music of GrassStreet, a premier Bluegrass band from the soul of North Carolina 's fine breed of musician. Stunning originals graced with fine crafted musicianship and harmony (the way it was meant to be heard) can be found in this group's recorded music and live performances. GrassStreet's lush styling and respect for the music is obvious in their comfortably familiar approach and presentation of America 's home grown music, Bluegrass. Someone ought to be paying attention to this group.

If you like bluegrass, then you'll love GrassStreet! This outstanding group of pickers opened up for IIIrd Tyme Out at Louisburg College, and dazzled the house with a great set of hard charging bluegrass. Their combination of instrumental prowess, vocal harmonies and excellent songwriting proved this group to be one of the best in North Carolina. Check them out!

GrassStreet is an excellent bluegrass band. They are truly talented and entertaining for a crowd of all ages. Every show that we have had GrassStreet play has created tons of knee slappin'… toe tappin' fun for everyone! With that in mind, they are very professional and always a pleasure to work with!

I've had the opportunity to hear GrassStreet live on several occasions and thoroughly enjoyed their music every time. I'd have to say, though, that my most memorable experience was when they played at our wedding. It was the perfect blend of talent, professionalism, and fun! Their mix of gospel, bluegrass, and old-time music was a perfect addition to the outdoor event, with many attendants commenting on the great music. These guys are not only talented but very down-to-earth and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

GrassStreet was great. Our customers were from the mid-west and had never experienced a live bluegrass band. We were all impressed with their music, and really appreciate them coming.

About our debut album,“Better Times”
All the songs are super well recorded and the new songs are welcome additions
to the bluegrass pool of tunes. GrassStreet did a first class job on their first,
self-produced CD and they should be proud. [ full review ]

What a terrific project this is...one of the BEST projects I've heard this YEAR!
The musicianship and songwriting ability, combined with the talent needed
to pull off great cover versions of traditional songs certainly set this CD apart
from others. Congratulations on hitting this one out of the park...Great Job!
You make all of us in Bluegrass Music proud.

The band varies the tempos nicely and demonstrates that there are both fast
and slow lanes on GrassStreet… Exceptional talent… sure to get a greater
number of bluegrass fans driving on GrassStreet. [ full review ]
